The Canary Islands are a good place to take a family holiday. Pretty much guaranteed nice weather - which is especially handy for those off-season holidays. One really good place for a family holiday is Aquamania Club Playa Blanca on the Canary Island of Lanzarote. The resort Club Playa Blanca is made up of "aparthotels" - which means that the accommodation are all bungalows, giving you plenty of your own space.
Club Playa Blanca is all-inclusive too, which, I feel, makes things much simpler when you have children in tow. But, and this is a big but, the best thing about Club Playa Blanca is that it is an "Aquamania" park, so a water park is included in your holiday.

The waterpark included with Aquamania Club Playa Blanca isn't actually on the resort itself - but is just down the road, less than a kilometre away. Now, this could be either a bad thing, or a good thing - depending on how you look at it. Granted, it's a little harder to get to the Paradise waterpark than in would be if it was actually on-site; but the good thing is you aren't subjected to the noise the waterpark would bring - you can walk away from the slides when you've has enough.Apart from the Paradise waterpark, is there anything else near Aquamania Club Playa Blanca
Funny you should ask. I've mentioned the waterpark, obviously. Club Playa Blanca is on the outskirts of Playa Blanca, and is a kilometre from a shingle beach at Playa Dora.
